Team Building Fundamentals
Core Members System
- Set up to 5 Core Members for focused training
- Non-core members auto-sync to the lowest core member's level
- Prioritize leveling your strongest characters first
Formation Selection
Formations are tied to your selected Leader. Each leader provides different passive bonuses:
- Protagonist Formation: Most recommended — simple activation conditions
- Endou Formation: Defensive bonus — great for tough boss fights
- Kidou Formation: Tactical bonus — complex but powerful when set up correctly
Formation Passive Effects (yellow squares) have activation conditions based on:
- Character attributes
- Team composition tags
- Position placement
Attribute Coverage
Build teams that cover multiple attributes:
- At minimum, cover 2 of 4 attributes
- Ideal: 3 attributes covered for flexibility
- Match character attribute with their special move attribute for max power
Position Placement
Each player has a preferred position area. Place them correctly for maximum effectiveness:
- ★3 FW in forward position > ★2 MF in same slot (for team ability)
- Don't force out-of-position placements even for higher rarity
