Inazuma Eleven Cross uses a 4-element attribute advantage cycle:

The Cycle

Wind → Mountain → Fire → Forest → Wind

Attribute Matching Bonus

Critical mechanic: When a character's attribute matches their special move's attribute, they achieve maximum power.

Example:

  • Fubuki (Wind) + Wolf Legend (Wind) = MAXIMUM POWER ✓
  • Fubuki (Wind) + Fire Tornado (Fire) = Reduced power ✗

Team Building by Attribute

Wind Team

  • Strikers: Fubuki Shirou, Kazemaru Ichirouta
  • Focus on: Speed and technique
  • Strong against: Mountain teams
  • Weak against: Forest teams

Fire Team

  • Strikers: Gouenji Shuuya, Fudou Myouou
  • Focus on: Raw power and aggression
  • Strong against: Forest teams
  • Weak against: Mountain teams

Forest Team

  • Strikers: Someoka Ryuugo, Sakuma Jirou
  • Focus on: Balanced offense and defense
  • Strong against: Wind teams
  • Weak against: Fire teams

Mountain Team

  • Focus on: Defense and stamina
  • Strong against: Fire teams
